Tony Fox

Tony started fishing at 5 years of age and first fished the tidal Thames around London. Over the past 50 years he has fished from the Arctic circle to the equator and throughout Europe, America, Asia, Africa, West Indies, Russia, The Gulf and even Sri Lanka.

He has fished for all species of coarse, game and sea fish (not always successfully). Tony is a passionate conservationist and member of several conservation societies. He is also a qualified guide and instructor who runs a fishing club with access to some of the best trout fishing in the UK including stretches of the Test and Itchen.

Tony will be accompanied by some of the major names in the sport and they will give talks and practical demonstrations for people of all ages and abilities. The presentations will also provide a focus on fishing for children. The event will be aimed at people who are about to enter or wish to enter the sport.
